Triple Town Review

Hey hey GGG mates,

I hope you’re enjoying our League of Legends challenges. It seems that we’ve been receiving many responses and we’re more than excited to find out who’ll be the lucky winner! Unfortunately, I haven’t joined LoL yet but I’m sure that I’ll be setting up an account very soon. In the mean time, I want to discuss Triple Town.

This was an app I recently added to my android a few days ago. I wasn’t recommended this game, I just liked the little picture of the bear on the app lol. So, I tried it out! I honestly had no clue how to play at first but after only three days, I am hooked on this game and try to play at any spare moment I have. The game is not much for action but of strategy.

The point of the game is to collect as many points as possible by developing your city.

How to develop your city: Match three of the same item to upgrade a development

At each turn, you will be given a random item that you can move to an empty spot. It would be rare to receive an upgraded item like a hut or a church, typically grass or a bush would appear.

A bear may be received which when released will move in empty spots  it’s trapped in but will occupy that spot making you unable to fill it with your item. You can trap the bear(s) in a single spot making it turn into a tombstone.

You may receive a crystal. The crystal is shown on the top left hand corner of the picture above. This crystal allows you to create an upgrade to any two matching items. Keep in mind that if not used wisely it will just turn into stone. I prefer using the crystal on harder already upgraded items or storing the crystal for later use. How you can store your items is by placing it in the top left hand corner as shown in the picture. Only one item can be stored at a time. Storing your item can be very useful!

You may also receive a bot. This item is helpful! When placed on another item, it will remove that item. Typically best used on bears as it will automatically turn the bear into a tombstone. Best to not use on high upgraded items as you will lose points. If the bot is not properly used it will turn to stone.

This is most of what I have so far. When playing this game, I recommend building your upgrades as close to the sides as possible as this will give you more opportunity to match three items for upgrades.

My rating for Triple Town is: 8/10

Unfortunately, the unpaid game is limited to turns and more challenging development locations but I am sure wanting to buy the unlimited game to see where it will take me next!

Restaurant Review: Daylight Grill

Hello Everyone!

I recently went to this breakfast and brunch restaurant located at 980 Southdown Clarkson, Ontario and it was worth every cent! Compared to Tutti Frutti and Cora’s Breakfast, it is more cheaper and the taste is better! I believe the quantity is about the same except for the five egg omelette:

It looks like a normal sized omelette but it is massive! It cost $8.67 compared to other breakfast restaurants that can charge up to $12.99, plus you get way more egg at this restaurant! I’m pretty picky when it comes to separating my sweet food with the salty, so it was nice they separated the plates. At Tutti Frutti and Cora’s my pancakes are mixed with my eggs and hash browns so I have to eat it a certain order so when I add syrup its not all over the place with the rest of my food.  This plate was the Daylight special! I thought it was the usual “Ham or sausage or bacon”, but it included all three!

This meal also came with toast:

This whole meal was $9.99! I was so full I wasn’t able to finish everything. Usually this type of dish can be around $12.99 – $15.99 at other places. Another standard dish is the Western sandwich:

This sandwich was $7.48, which also beats the price at breakfast restaurants. With our meal we also ordered 2 freshly squeezed orange juice. It tasted great, but it was expensive like other restaurants. It was in a small bottle too, so had to ask for water in the end. The coffee was $1.79 which was refillable. In total the meal cost us $39.00 for three people! I think that is pretty reasonable compared to other restaurants. Usually this would be the price for two people.

Overall I recommend Daylight Grill if you are in the area! The taste and price beats other restaurants. It seems to be run by a family, but I’m not sure. Don’t get me wrong I still go to Tutti Fruitti’s, but between Daylight Grill and them, I would choose Daylight Grill. Cora’s, I’ve given up on. I’ve tried to enjoy myself at Cora’s many times and the food just isn’t worth the price.
