Wii Trauma Team Game Recommendation

27 Jun

Hello game lovers,

I am currently in the middle of playing Trauma Team for the Wii Console. It’s a 2010 game that simulates different emergency doctors. There are different characters that you can pick to play. You can pick any character, but I generally try to stay in the timeline. The great thing about this game is that is has an interesting plot and it is up to you whether you follow the correct timeline.

There are 6 different roles, some characters I definitely favour over others. Here are the characters and what kind of doctor they are. This is the  diagnostician, Gabriel Cunningham. He is probably the least anticipated out of all characters. I never want to play him when he is next on the timeline. I guess It only gets really annoying when at the end you have to do a match up of all the symptoms your patient has.

He kind of looks like Cowboy Bebop, no?

The other character that isn’t as exciting as the rest is Maria Torres, an emergency first response medical technician. She has an annoying role in the game. She gets really mad a lot, but I don’t mind her game play role.

You have to balance different emergency patients at a time. Her game play looks like this:

In my opinion the two hardest characters are the orthopedic surgeon Hank Freebird and  Tomoe Tachibana in endoscopy. They are the hardest roles to play and sometimes makes me rage.

Hank Freebird:

Tomoe Tachibana:

My two favourite characters are  ”CR-S01“, a general surgeon and forensics medical examiner Naomi Kimishima. They are by far the most  interesting and fun characters to play.  ”CR-S01″ is a prisoner on death row that is given a chance to save lives. Right now there is a lot of plot development with this character, but I won’t spoil it for you!

CR-S01“:

His gameplay isn’t too difficult. It can be stressful, but I would say it’s average difficulty compared to the other characters. His game play looks something like this:

Naomi Kimishima:

Naomi Kimishima is my favourite character! She is the most fun character to play, though her gameplay can take up to an hour. Her gameplay is very interesting and has plot within itself. You get to figure out murders from autopsies. Sometimes things can be obvious, but some are surprising at well.  She is known in the game as the “Corpse Whisperer” and she gets phones calls from the deceased! All her events start that way, and you search for clues and information:

After you have enough clues you sort it out and try to get solid evidence.

After you complete any of the character events, the overall plot unravels. There are a lot of thing to tell you more about the game, but I think it would ruin it for you.  Overall I give this game 8.5/10 for plot and gameplay. Its creative, interesting and sometimes gives me a laugh. It can be difficult for some events, but I like that you can still move on with other characters. I find this game is worth the money and definitely worth the try. From the character Naomi Kimishima in this game I tried to find something similar on Nintendo 3DS. I was recommended the game Ace Attorney for Nintendo DS.

It is about a new laywer, Phoenix Wrightwho also solves murder cases. He collects evidence and uses the evidence in court. So far I’m enjoying it. If you liked Naomi Kimishima in Trauma Team, I think you will like this game too. I will write a review for that in another post.

BTW, What are you guys reading this for? Guild Wars 2 Stress Test on  Wednesday, June 27 (Today!). It will begin from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PDT (GMT-7)! Like our GGG Facebook page and then go play Guild Wars 2!

That game looks like a direct Japanese –> English port. The pictures are kinda confusing, didn’t know what the heck I was supposed to be looking at. Perhaps a video might be better. 0.o

It actually is originally a japanese game. According to Wiki “Trauma Team, known in Japan as Hospital.: 6 Doctors (HOSPITAL.: 6人の医師?)”.

I guess the photos aren’t as clear as I hoped them to be. I guess I could have done a video, but it was too hard to play and take a video, rather than take photos XD. Maybe I should have explained the gameplay more detailed and clearly. I’ll take that into consideration next time though!

    Where are u from?

How are the wii controls? Responive or frustrating?

I’m from Canada. For this game you use the nun-chucks Wii controllers. I find the controls are a bit laggy sometimes, and hard to use, but that’s with more Wii games. My friend had a easier time keeping a steady hand in the game though, so I think it depends on the person. The game can be frustrating cause you need a steady hand for some of the events, but on the most parts its ok. Overall I guess it is responsive.
