Hello Gamers!
When I see Steam games for sale that are really cheap sometimes I try them out. About 6 months ago LIMBO was on sale so I tried it out. I like the eerie and creepy feel to it, but it isn’t stressful scary like Amnesia. It would say it is a somewhat of a puzzle game because there are some things you have to figure out in order to advance. Some are pretty easy and some took me a long time to figure out. You do need a little bit of reflex skill, but it’s not a big deal to die. You just start where you were last before that specific challenge. The controls are just forward, back, jump and grab (ctrl).
This game is very enjoyable and keeps me interested unlike other indie games such as Osmos, World of Goo, and Doc Clock. World of Goo was fun for a bit, but I hated the steam game VVVVVV. In my opinion it is extremely hard and not interesting at all. Unlike those indie games I finished LIMBO and it had an interesting ending. It also has an abstract plot ending, in which the meaning depends on your own interpretation. I don’t think you should play this game if you want a interesting plot, but it does seem to have a weird background story that makes you wonder. I ended up googling different players ending interpretations since I was curious and found interesting results. I won’t ruin it for you, but there are a lot of forums about it if you look it up!
Overall I rate this game 8/10 as an indie game that is cheap to buy. I loved the design of the game, very enjoyable for people who are into graphic design. I would give it as a small gift if I needed a small gift idea to someone who enjoys steam games. I don’t recommend letting a child play this game, it is rated T for teen. It’s pretty violent at times and sometimes had hanging bodies. Here is a video of me playing at the beginning.
This is just a short clip of me playing the steam game Limbo. Its only a clip of the beginning, I didn’t want to ruin it for anyone who wanted to try it. I totally recommend this game and find it very interesting!
Hope everyone had an awesome weekend and don’t forget to like our GGG facebook page!
