Hello GGG Readers!
I had random outing with my friend because he received a complimentary pizza coupon from Alice Fazooli’s for doing a survey. It had no expiry date, no purchase necessary, not valid with any other offer, one per table use – the usual stuff.
This restaurant is Canadian, I’m not too sure if they franchised to America yet. It’s an Italian restaurant, mid to high class fine-dining place. We went to the one near Square One Mall in Mississauga. There is no dress code to this place, but it has a bar area and patio as well. They play Italian speaking 101 audio in the washroom.
We ordered pepperoni & bacon pizza and rigatone salsiccia pasta to share.

The bill was cheap for dinner-for-two:

They have a lot of promotions if you follow their facebook page or sign up under “friends with benefit” from their website. You can get random deals to your e-mail. I think they track from your e-mail address because when I used my old coupon, they immediately sent me a new/different coupon. But, I couldn’t use the new coupon so they haven’t offered me anything yet. So, I think the more you visit the more deals you get. How does this work? Because the coupon you print out has your e-mail address written on it, and I think they enter it into their system to send you more deals later on or something.
And then, we head over to Spin Dessert Cafe in Etobicoke. We heard so much about this place and finally visited to try it out.
They had a monthly promotion, so we ordered a Waffle with smores ice cream and fudge sauce.

Smores was August’s promotion. It’s 95 cents extra for the waffle and it originally comes in crepe. The neighbourhood is quiet and the place was cozy and friendly (but not too small). This place is franchising so it will open up more stores in GTA (I heard). I do want to visit again to try other stuff on the menu, perhaps on September? tee hee.
It’s located right beside the theatre so if you’re watching a movie and have some spare time to kill, I recommend to go there. And, I believe the theatre beside it has 4D seats, which is the only one in Canada(?). It’s the one with moving chairs while you have 3D glasses on.
