Hello GGG Readers!
I had an epic weekend. Of course, full of nomming.
I tried peking duck for the first time at Peking Man Restaurant, we ordered chicken & egg soup as appetizer, two-set peking duck course with lettuce and rice roll. It was just the right amount for 3 people.

We walked around Ikea with $1 ice cream cone. Did I mention that they have good food there as well? in affordable prices? i.e. swedish meatballs!!
The next day, my friends and I randomly went to Dave & Busters and redeemed our tickets on useless stuff.

The two dices and smiley-face-mini-basketball is mine. I’m currently throwing-and-catching the ball on my own while I watch videos in my room. Working on my hand-grip and arm strength that way. Sounds lame, but I really don’t have arm strength LOL.
Then, we had South St. Burger for dinner.

It’s a burger franchise that you can customize your own topping (kind of like Harvey’s but more variety) with New York Fries.
That food was enough for 3 people again. This franchise is currently expanding, they’re opening up a new one at Square One Mall as well, so I’m excited about that. Must try wasabi mayo next time.

Try having the peking duck with the plain bun I like to call a “Chinese biscuit”. It’s how they usually serve it, with chopped green onions and a special sauce. I actually haven’t seen it being served with just rice and lettuce cuz rice always comes with the meals those style of restaurants have.
Pretty nice plating on the duck, and the burger looks nice too.
we tried it with lettuce and rice paper, havent seen plain bun on the menu… but ya, i’ll try to remember next time i go thanks
That’s the stuff alright
Good stuff.
droolllllll..
They have one of those burger places in Square One? :O It looks good! Is it in the actual mall or outside…?
They’re gonna open one soon at square one, I went to the one in a plaza in Milton. You can find them in downtown as well.
Yummy. :O
