Dealing with Diablo 3 Account Hackers

Hello Gamers!

Just a few days ago I finally had some time to play some Diablo 3 after a month or so. I couldn’t log in, so I checked my blizzard account and nothing was working. Finally I went on my gaming designated email and it turns out I was hacked! Here are some pretty obvious signs I was hacked:

So they tried many attempts to log in, and changed my password and the email registered to my blizzard account. They also were able to change my security question and my battle tag name. So what I did is I called them, and told them my situation. It did take 20 minutes to get in touch with a representative but overall I was very happy with the service and they were very friendly.  They were quick to my concerns and solved everything on the spot except for the rollback. The only thing I didn’t feel comfortable about was sending a photo ID licence for verification and proof that the account was mine. As soon as I gained control of my account I checked it and my Witch Doctor was dead =(. I was so upset and I didn’t know what to do. I just messaged them and followed this reply from them:

Luckily I just followed really simples steps and within 3 days I got my account fully recovered with my hardcore witch doctor returned safe and sound. There was a few small missing items but I can’t complain, I just wanted my witch doctor and 700 DPS weapon back XD.

I got a BATTLENET Moble Authenticator  to avoid this problem again. Basically you download this app on your phone and then every time you log in it generates random codes you have to enter in.  Honestly it is a pain in the butt to enter this code in every time I log in, but it definitely is a lot less hassle then reporting everything and then trying to apply for a rollback. I also have no used up one out of two rollbacks, so I don’t want to have to use my last one.

For compromise policies check out this link. You are allowed to have 2 rollbacks in your Diablo 3 game lifetime. It is only applicable if you are hacked, or compromised. Overall I was very annoyed with the situation, but I was impressed with how it was dealt and I am very happy with Blizzard.

I urge you guys to check your emails and get an Moble Authenticator! Hope that this doesn’t happen to anyone else! If you are stuck in a situation, explain it to them and hopefully they will help you as well as they helped me.

Help Pick GGG’s Halloween Costume!

Hello Followers!

I need some serious help deciding what NinjaBunni3s and I should be for Halloween. Please help us decide! If you wanted me to do a tutorial in the past now is the time to give ideas or vote for which idea you like the best XD.  I will most likely do a tutorial while I make it as well. I want to get it started as soon as possible so please help us out! Our criteria is that we’d like it to be a medium difficulty in creating. Since we plan to go to a bar or club we are trying to avoid having any prop weapons.

So far we have these ideas:

1. Sucker Punch (Ninjabunni3s: Baby Doll, CocoRocha:Sweet Pea). The only concern we have is with the blonde hair and the weapons. We are trying to avoid props all together so that we won’t have to worry about them while we party down.

2. Dark Stalkers (Ninjabunni3s: Morrigan, CocoRocha: Felicia). Since we are planning to go out with these costumes, Morrigan side wings will be smaller and Felicia will be less revealing. I am a bit worried about how she will turn out. I don’t want her to look tacky or too naked. We will probably change a bit of the portions of the costume.

3. Miku Vocaloid (Undecided who is who).

4. Alice in Wonderland (Ninjabunni3s: Queen of hearts, CocoRocha: Alice). This is our inspiration photo, from a magazine. Obviously we will have a slightly different spin on it. We are thinking tiara and tutu for the Queen of hearts?

5. Eevee Evolution  or Pokemon (Undecided who is who). We were thinking along the lines of a human version of pokemon. The idea of being  group of Eevee evolutions seems like another decent idea.

Those are our top ideas. Other ideas we had were girl versions of TF2, Portal, Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3, Power puff girls, Hello kitty, Pucca & Garu and others I can’t remember at the moment.

VOTING IS CLOSED. Dark Stalkers and Eevee Evolution has been fighting for the winning spot! We’ve decided to do the Eevee evolution anyways because we have an extra person to cosplay with us! If anyone is desperate for a dark stalkers cosplay let me know. Maybe next time we have an opportunity to cosplay as Dark Stalkers we will! Last Summer Outdoor BBQ

Hello GGG Readers!

It’s almost the end of August, and that means Summer time is leaving soon T_T

It does get chilly during the night time, so I don’t wear short-shorts anymore.

My friends and I celebrated this moment with BBQ!

We went full out this time including sirlion beef, pork belly, tiger shrimp, mackerel, five-cheese sausage, spicy sausage, clam. And, we also grilled onions, garlics and kimchi because that’s how Koreans barbecue LOL

Between 6 people, we used two grills at Erindale Park, it’s located near University of Toronto Mississauga.

We were being silly and my friend pretended to be Slenderman with a paper plate in front of his face.

One of my friend bakes as a hobby and she brought us little treats for dessert.

It’s low-calorie, so it’s not as sweet but I like it how it is. On the plus side, it was homemade.

On a side note, the new patch 1.0.4 is now available on Diablo 3, followed by the Paragon system.

So, if you’re level 60 and bored of the game, keep playing! You’ll be reaching to paragon level which is available until 100. Challenging enough?

Defeating Diablo 3 in Nightmare Hardcore

Hello Diablo fans!

I recently defeated Diablo in nightmare hardcore. During this difficulty I didn’t have any trouble with the bosses. I was having more difficulty with the elite monsters if there were too many at a time. Before fighting Diablo I had these items:

I relied on Vitality the most and then Intelligence. The spirt walk and horrify spells helped me through these levels as a Witch Doctor because I was near death a few times and it would save me. Since I had my minions there were times when I had to constantly Spirt walk away from Elites so that I could teleport. Some were too fast and scary, but I also I some bad items at that point as well. A lot of the items I use are from the auction house and not found. Before Diablo, I was really worried about dying so I blew all my money (and some money my friends gave me) and got a reduced lvl weapon for 2 million.

When I first bought it I was like OMG, what have I done. I couldn’t tell if I made a huge mistake or not. I bid on it thinking I would have gotten outbid for sure. I was fighting for it for a good 15 minutes, but was surprised I won in the end.

It’s obviously a huge change in damage. I didn’t have to touch anything, my Zombie Dogs and Gargantuan (minions) also gained damage and killed everything before I could hit it. Here is a video of the kind of damage I was doing (BTW there is a spoiler in this video):

It was pretty amazing for 5 minutes and then I thought, I might have just ruined the game for myself.I defeated Diablo in less than 2 minutes and my minions died only once. Diablo didn’t even try to hit me with a cage, I guess I was too fast. I wanted to take a video but was worried it would make me lag.

During my second time around I discovered the Holy Sanctum room in the last act. I was worried at first because it has these panels that come up and down. I thought I would die but you just need to step on them to activate them. When you activate them normal monsters come, but there isn’t anything special. Honestly this room is a waste of time. There is a chest that gives you crap items at the end and almost no gold. The room is only useful if you wanted a boost of experience.

I also ran into this glitch in the 3rd act which was really annoying. It was doing this for a good 15 minutes before it disappeared randomly

Otherwise this difficulty was okay. It’s definitely more challenging than normal but as others have said it’s not to bad as long as you play safe and get decent items. I enjoyed the second round more for some reason. I know I’m behind, but there must be people still at the same stage as me! I’m looking forward to Hell mode and I will let you know if I am still alive!

By the way there is a deal right now for Diablo 3 that I saw on www.redflagdeals.com that is offering  $20 mail in rebate! That means it’s only $39.99! So for those who wanted to try it out now is the time. Unfortunately a lot of people have quit, but I still find it enjoyable.

League of Legends – Malphite

Hello GGG Readers!

I have finally edited one of my League of Legends play. One game is usually 40 minutes or more so it’s time consuming to edit the epic moments out. Because, in Diablo 3, you just record when you fight bosses. Anywho, my favourite character is Malphite. It’s the only character that I’m familiar of using with. I’m still at low level so I’m not that good like my other friends. So, I just end up farming. And, the chatbox… It’s hard to multi-task for me I don’t know why haha.

On a side note, has everyone watched the opening ceremony for the Olympics 2012 London? I have and it’s good including P&G commercials because they made me cry T_T;

Diablo 3: The Auction House

Hello Diablo Fans,

This post I will talk about selling, buying and making money in The Auction House.  I’ve heard most people have given up on Diablo or has gotten bored of it. I think I’m more into it then when I wrote my post about Defeating Diablo in Normal Hardcore. Right now I’m trying to save up money so I can buy a reduced level weapon item that has around 500 DPS. From what I’ve heard I’m more than ready to face him in Nightmare Hardcore, I just don’t want to take any chances.

This is pretty much tips for noobs, so it’s not for people who know what they are doing. So here are my tips for earning, selling and buying items in The Auction House.

Always compare items with other items: Most of the time people know what they are doing and sell around the same price. When you are reselling your items check other items on the auction house to see what they are selling for. Below you will see if I wanted to sell my belt there is only one other item similar to mine. Mine still has better stats, and the extra stats aren’t very useful. I’d actually sell it for more than this item. If it had experience, lifesteal of some sort, than it would be worth more than mine. The stats aren’t very helpful so I don’t find it worth more than mine.

If you see a good deal, buy and resell it: If you see something with similar stats and a lower price take up the opportunity right away and grab it. Once in a while I’ll see really good items being sold for really cheap. I buy them and resell them for a higher price. Again search up the items check the stats and see what other people are selling it for. Just make sure its worth it because remember that whatever you sell it for, there is 15% off.

When you buy to upgrade an item, try selling it for the same price of the item you just bought: I do end up buying a lot of items that are overpriced. I try not to lose a lot of money so when I do end up buying something to upgrade an item, I resell it for the same price I bought the new item for. Even though it is lower stats and it doesn’t make sense, You would be surprised of how many times I got away with it. It’s great because it’s like getting an upgraded item for free! If it doesn’t work out, just sell it for less, and compare the items. No harm done trying!

The little items add up: Even when selling things for 1000, it adds up! Don’t just toss it away, try just selling a few small items and it will add up and slowly help you save money. See above screenshot, I have a bunch of small items that sold quickly all at once.

Don’t buy anything for any price: I do occasionally buy things in the 70,000 – 90,000 zone, but only if its a huge difference in stats. I only find it worth it if my stats are being increased by 250 DMG, or 1000 health.

If you are only gaining 10 – 20 more stats and its a lot of money, its really not worth it. You may as well wait to level up or wait until there are better items in the auction house. See below screenshot. The helm just isn’t worth 100,000.

Check the time lapsed for the item: If you are in doubt, check how much time is left on the item! I find sometimes it can help me when deciding a purchase. If its a really good deal it wouldn’t still be in the auction house after 5 hours! I try to take the good deals quickly because I hate thinking about it for awhile and then its already gone. At the same time I’ve rushed myself buying an item before that I totally regretted. It seemed like a good deal at the time and then I realized the stats were shit. That only happened once though :3.

Bidding and Buyout depends on the item: If its something you really want buy it out! If its worth it and you will regret to see someone else buy it out than do so! Don’t try to save money and bid, because most people will just buyout. I find Bidding is underrated. Nobody does it unless its a really great item that doesn’t have a buyout. I think sometimes its necessary when its a really good item and the buyout is way too expensive. Most of the time you will not win, unless you check the time lapse and make sure you’re online for that moment it ends. I find it’s better to wait near the end rather than fighting and raising the price, until you can’t afford it.

I hope that helps anyone in need for understanding The Auction House. This is my way of buying, selling and making money. Right now its gotten me comfortably through Normal and Nightmare hardcore. I’m about to fight Diablo but waiting on an item in The Auction House. I hope I get it. I’ll show you if I do end up getting it! Right now here are my stats and money.

Diablo 3 – Secret Cow Level

Hello GGG Readers!

If you’ve read the previous post about Coco Rocha’s experience at Canoe Restaurant, I’m going there tonight.

I have been there in January, though, we had a nice server. But we loved the young, handsome men who arrived with our mains because it was girl’s night out. While they were explaining about the dish, all we could stare is their arms and chest lol.

So, most of my friends are telling me how I’m not level 60 yet at Diablo. I’m 55 now. Yes, I have experienced the secret cow level.

The video above is the first half. We ran around the whole map for 20 minutes, I died countless times. I edited out the dead part cuz it’s just a still-screen. It’s good for experience because those ponies and flowers give u lots. When you party with your friends, though, it gets harder to kill – that’s why my friend’s Barbarian (level 60) even died. I was quite surprised.

Some people say the background music is trippy.

You can find it in hell mode. I don’t think I can find it because my friend just said “follow me” and voila! I was like…

I don’t know if it’s just me… I’m not making any profit on auction house. No one’s buying my items, even for gold. Any tips/suggestions?

Diablo 3 – nightmare mode, act 1

Hello GGG Readers!

It’s been a while since I’ve played actual game other than solitaire. Last night, I played Diablo 3 with my friend on nightmare mode. We finished Act 1 together.

I play demon hunter from level 31 but leveled upto 35 in the end.

My friend’s character is barbarian from level 35 but leveled upto 37 in the end.

This video is killing the butcher, which is the end of the Act 1.

The audio is low because it was late at night and I had skype on to talk to my friend, so I lowered the game volume. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I don’t play everyday so I’m not leveling up as fast as my friends or other people.  Hopefully, I can hit that 60 soon so I can make my second character lol.

Defeating Diablo 3 in Normal Hardcore

Hello Everyone!

As most of you probably are aware League of Legends has been having server issues for the past few days, so I’ve been playing Diablo 3 instead! To be honest I have a feeling my obsession with League of Legends will soon end, along with L4D2 and TF2. I’m getting bored of it and I usually move on to the next game. I am anticipating Guild Wars 2! I enjoyed Diablo 3, but I’m not that crazy about it as much as other games. I don’t find myself eager to get home to play Diablo 3. Most of my friends died in hardcore and gave up to play normal mode instead. I played most of the game alone which is why maybe I didn’t enjoy it as much as I would with multiplayer games.

Before reading the rest of this post, please be aware that there are spoilers!

I’ve been avoiding actual gameplay in Diablo 3 and enjoying the auction house instead. I searched for a couple of items so that I wouldn’t have to worry about playing against Diablo. I spent a lot of money to get some of these items. My biggest spend was my THIEF’S BARRIER (Rare Chest Armor), which I bought for 14,999. I think my best purchase was my CRUSH SPINE (Rare Mace) I bought for  3,000. I love it because it has 123 vitality and poison damage! The rest of my items were half bought and half found. Here were my item stats before I went to fight Diablo:

Here are some screen shots before fighting Diablo, I was scared the entire time, I didn’t look up anything to know where I would fight him or what kind of fight to expect. I was planning to look it up and then I got lazy. I knew I was close when this other angel guy wanted to battle me because I’m human and its all my fault that this is happening. What a jerk…

Apparently Diablo already started taking away the angels powers so I didn’t end up fighting the orange angel.  I’m pretty sure I heard my character say “Tyrael, you can fight even though you’re not an angel”, and he’s like NOPE, you fight him alone human, GOOD LUCK. What a jerk…

It’s all good thought cause I’ve got Templar and he always distracts the enemy :3. Wait, He got stuck in a trap. He’s telling me “I better go ahead without him”. Sure Templar, getting trapped in there was an “accident”. Geeze, what a jerk…

These cowards! Making me fight Diablo alone. I was definitely scared, but at this time I’m really glad I picked Witch Doctor. I imagine that class is the best to defeat bosses because my minions are always distracting them. It’s only once in awhile you actually have to worry about the bosses focusing you.

My Zombie Dogs and Gargantuan (minions) died a few times and my spells for them were still on cool down. I got caught in his cage three times -_-. Near the end I got the hang of dodging the black spots where the cage traps you. I usually don’t panic because I have my Spirit Walk to get away in tight spots, unfortunately you can’t cast spells in the cages. When he comes to pick you up in the cage he took about 1/3 of my life. I have 6343 maximum life so thats about 2,115 dmg. Right after he dropped me I just popped my health potions.

I think about half way through he sent me somewhere else where I’m fighting my own self? I’m not sure I didn’t catch everything he was saying. Too busy thinking I was about to die. There is smoke surrounding you, so you don’t have much vision of when this demon will come out. Once in awhile shadows of my appearance came out, but they weren’t to hard to kill.

After I killed this Demon, I went back to Diablo and I was able to beat him!

I was still worried something would come back up and I would still have to fight. I knew it was over when I saw Diablo being casted down the heavens.

After that Tyrael act’s as if he has accomplished something. I’m pretty sure I was the one who killed Diablo, but sure I’ll watch a the ending cinematic with you in it. I really enjoyed the graphics in the ending cinematic.

Hurrah! I beat Diablo 3 in Normal, Hardcore. I think everyone has already done this a month ago, but I finally was able to do it. I guess you will be fine as long as you have the right items and watch out for the cage when fighting Diablo. To be honest the most trouble I had was when I was fighting the ACT 2 boss. You just don’t have much places to go to regenerate your health. In the end it was easier than I thought. I think people die mostly in the hell or infernal mode. Even then I’m worried about the nightmare mode. We will see!

What happened to Leah at the end? Was she evil in the end? I wasn’t really sure what happened. There seemed to be no connection with her uncle and Leah at the end or was I confused? Oh well..did anyone else think of Urgot from League of Legends when they saw this?

Samsung Kies

I missed my post 4-days ago because wordpress wasn’t working on Chrome, and found out later on that all I had to do was use a different browser. So, now I have to open Firefox just to post lol.

I was gonna talk about Samsung Kies program and how it wouldnt connect to my Samsung Wave GT-S8500 phone.

I have the first generation of Samsung Wave, it uses Bada OS which is only for Wave phones. Therefore, it has limited of apps.

Some people might use Whatsapp, Viber, etc. as a communicating source with smartphones. In Korea, we use KakaoTalk (they do provide it in English as well).

I have almost every Korean friends contacts in there, and it’s easier to chat there for people who’s not in Toronto (to avoid long distance charges).

Now, it was only available in Android and Apple but now available in Bada as well.

In order to download the app, I had to upgrade the firmware.

Samsung Kies is a program that looks similar to iTunes to synchronize your phone to your computer. The USB cable didnt work, bluetooth didnt work so I gave up on upgrading the firmware.

On a side note, I have finally bought Diablo 3 ($17 off). I’m currently playing on Demon Hunter (female). I’ll update on that later on when I level up more, I’m currently at level 23.

I did finish the normal mode though, with the help of my friends. I did absolutely nothing LOL.
